Rain Cloud

Apparatus:

• Water.
• Shaving Foam.
• Blue Food Colouring.
• Clear Jar.

Method:

1. Our teacher showed us the apparatus for the experiment.
2. Our teacher half filled the jar with water.
3. Our teacher put a layer of shaving foam on top of the water.
4. Our teacher used a straw to put a small amount of the blue food colouring on the shaving foam.

Results:

The shaving foam looked like a cloud. The food colouring slowly crept through the shaving foam and into the water. It looked like rain.
